With over 15 years of experience in education, Jerusha Spain brings a strong background in teaching, leadership, and student support to her role as Coordinator. She attended the University of Washington earning a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. Spain also earned two master's degrees from Western Governors University in Educational Leadership and Teaching Social Science.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Spain has served in various roles as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and administrator, consistently focused on creating inclusive, high-quality learning experiences for all students. She is passionate about the power of virtual education to meet students where they are and provide flexible, meaningful pathways to success.
In addition to her work in education, Mrs. Spain proudly serves in the South Carolina Army National Guard as a logistics officer, where she continues to demonstrate her commitment to service, discipline, and leadership.
Outside of work, she is a proud wife, boy mom, and loves watching anything sports-related.
